The English Department of GPM Government College has been functional since the establishment of the college. There are no sanctioned UG or PG programmes in the department. Therefore, the department faculty have only been teaching Common English classes. Currently there are two faculty members in the department.
The English department focuses on the development of the students’ language and communication skills. The teachers in the department have been offering remedial sessions for our students. We encourage the students to utilize every opportunity to improve their language.
The department’s vision is to continue inspiring the students to improve their knowledge of English, the global language. The department faculty encourage students to explore the world through reading.
